Chester Damiani, age 86. Lifelong Chicago Heights area resident. Retired after 50 years of service as a Supply Clerk for Kimble Glass Company. U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Accomplished athelete and graduate of Bloom H.S. Father of Rick (K.C.), Timothy (Angelica), Dante, and Scott (Kristen). Grandfather of Cesare, Derek and Timothy. Brother of Lee (Jerry) Garafolo-Malizia, and the late Guy and Ted Damiani. Son of the late Federica nee Silenzi and Settimio Damiani. Dear uncle and friend of many. A lover of gardening and raising roses, Chet was a true “Rose Whisperer” who enjoyed sharing his meticulously maintained vegetable garden with his friends and neighbors. Resting at Panozzo Bros.
