Clara Maro nee Mantia age 94. Longtime Homewood resident formerly of Chicago’s Roseland area passed away on Christmas Day in her home at The Park of Olympia Fields with her loving family at her side. Wife of the late Nicholas Maro Sr. Mother of Anthony (Maryann), Nicholas Jr. (Kristina), Patricia (late Dale) Walsh, Roberta (James) Wall, Robert (Lucy) and Richard (Marcia) Maro. Grandmother of 25, great grandmother of 20. Sister of Jean Florczak and the late Josephine Gregorio, Rose DiSalvo and Julie Vinciguerra. Loving aunt and dear friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heigths on Sunday December 29th from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Monday 9:15 AM to St. Kieran Church, Chicago Heights.
