Daniel G. Walsh, age 53 died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 12th. Daniel, a Certified Public Accountant, graduated from Homewood Flossmoor High School and Northern Illinois University. He was the Chief Operations Officer with Children’s Plus Inc. in Beecher. Husband of Sonia nee Fonseca. Father of Joseph Walsh, Diego (Alyssa) and Alejandra (Juan Martinez) Carrillo. Grandfather of Luciano. Son of the late Joseph and Eileen Walsh. Brother of Kathleen (late Thomas) Labuda, John (Carrie) Walsh, Kevin Walsh and the late James, Thomas and Timothy Walsh and Patricia Griffith. Uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Daniel was a friend and colleague to many. A memorial visitation at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Friday October 20th from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Memorial mass Saturday 9:30 AM at St. Kieran Church, 196th and Halsted Street, Chicago Heights. Burial of ashes will be private.
