Schmidt, Diane L. Schmidt age 57, passed away suddenly on May 13th at her home in Olympia Fields. Former  Calumet City and Roseland resident. Graduate of St. Anthony Grammar School, Elizabeth Seton High School and Thornton Community College. 28 years employee of South Suburban Hospital’s Medical Records Dpt. Daughter of the late Antoinette nee Nitti and Harry J. Schmidt, C.F.D. Retired. Sister of Donna McGuire, Doreen (Gary) Lathrop, and Dana (Michael) Murphy. Loving aunt of Nick DiBenedetto, Kellie Villasenor, Kari, Krista, and Kyle Lathrop. Great aunt of Gianna Villasenor. Survived by her devoted caregiver and friend Luis “Lou” Pagan. Beloved niece, cousin, colleague, and dear friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St (US Rt. 30, 3 Blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Thursday May 16th from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral services Friday 10:00 AM.
