Diva Marie Pulcini nee Spinozzi, age 98. Lifelong Chicago Heights resident and matriarch of the Marchegiana community. Retired as Office Manager for Midwest Forging Co. after 41 years of service. Adored wife of the late Carlo Mario Pulcini, to whom she married on Aug. 11, 1948 in Italy. Daughter of the late Anita Falaschetti and Nazzareno Spinozzi. Loving sister of the late Lydia (late Peter) Zagone and Mary Spinozzi. Beloved aunt of Paulnita (late James) Rees and Diana (Raymond) Rhode. Devoted “Aunt Diva” to Renee, James Jr. (Laura), and Peter (Terri) Rees, Rhonda (Michael) Ferry and John (Becky) Rhode. Loving “Auntie Ge Gee” to her great nieces and nephews of Ryan, Alysha, Cody, Taylor, Jimmy, Justin, Alanna, Johnny, Ashtyn, Jake and Reece. Diva’s love, enthusiasm and generosity for her Italian heritage helped perpetuate scholarship and pride to new generations of young Italian-American’s. She will be fondly remembered by all fortunate to have known her. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 Bllks.
