Dominic Valente age 80. Longtime Homewood resident formerly of Chicago Heights, Frankfort and Chicago’s Historic Pullman neighborhood/St. Anthony Parish. Longtime Accountant, retired in 2012 from the State of Illinois. U.S. Army Veteran. Father of Maria Valente and Nicole Valente. Son of the late Maria nee Zovi and Giovanni Valente. Brother of Bertilla Lee, Mary (late Nello) Gregori and the late Matthew, Mario (late Genevieve) and John (Jacqueline) Valente. Beloved “Zio Dom” to his many nieces and nephews. Former husband of Shirley nee Cozzello. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Thursday December 4th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
