Don P. Hayn Jr. age 90. Longtime Park Forest resident formerly of Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood. Retired after 39 years as a Retail Advertising Salesman for the Chicago Tribune. Multiple recipient of the Tribune’s Campbell Award for sales excellence. U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. Husband of the late Jeanne K. Hayn nee Kelly. Father of Don III, Scott (Merle), Thomas (Arlene), Terry and Greg (Esther Martinez) Hayn. Grandfather of Don IV, Kelly, Sarah, Patrick and Elizabeth Hayn. Brother of Marjorie (late Louis) Corrington, George W. “Bill” (RuthAnn) Hayn and the late Helen (late Charles) Usborne. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Don’s passion for University of Illinois Football and fishing were surpassed only by the love for his family. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Wednesday January 16th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Body will lie in state on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service, 11:00 AM at Hickory Creek Community Church, 10660 W. Lincoln Hwy., Frankfort. Private inurnment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Worth. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Special Olympics or Honor Flight-Chicago would be appreciated by his family.
