Donald L. Bechard, age 90. Longtime Chicago Heights resident. U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. Retired after over 30 years of service to the City of Chicago Heights as Director of Emergency Services, while also working many years as a Photographer for the Star Publications. Proud member of the Chicago Heights Kiwanis Club and the St. Agnes Knights of Columbus. Husband of Sarah nee Faso. Father of Michael (Sweden) Bechard, Michelle (Randall) Selvaggio and Cheryl (Brad Sprague) Bechard. Grandfather of Michael, Matthew, Sara, Samantha, Alyssa, Nicolas, Alana, Joseph, Alex, Alexandra and Elena. Brother in law of Phil “Butch” (Carol) Faso. Dear uncle and friend of many.
