Douglas S. Victor

Douglas S. Victor was born November 23, 1952, the second child of John and Olga. He was kind, loving and sometimes annoying to older brother, Martin, and younger sister, Sharon. The Victor children grew up in Calumet City, IL, and attended and graduated from St. Andrew grade school and TF North high school. Following graduation, Doug worked in construction and as a truck driver and equipment operator for the City of Calumet City. Doug has three children: Doug, Jr. (Jeannine), Danielle (Denny Carlotto), and David. Doug has been a friend of Bill W for over 25 years and has been a supportive friend to many. After Doug’s retirement, he moved to North Liberty, Indiana. He had a love for nature and a passion for fishing, and a great network of friends. He appreciated each day. He is loved and will be missed by many. Visitation will be on Tuesday Nov. 22nd from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. (next to Fitness Pointe). Funeral Wednesday 9:15 AM to St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 768 Lincoln Ave, Calumet City. Mass 10:00 AM. Private Inurnment Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City. 219 924-3333.
