Edward J. “Eddie” Kurz Jr. age 61. Lifelong Hazel Crest resident recently of Thornton passed away suddenly on Sunday June 16th at his home. As the Delivery Driver for the Homewood Florist, Eddie brought smiles to the front doors of thousands upon thousands of spouses, mothers, fathers, Valentines, prom dates, and brides-to-be for the past 35years. Loving husband for 41 years of Linda nee Boyd. Devoted father of Daniel, Brad (Elissa) and Andrew Kurz. Proud grandfather of Julianne Kurz. Son of the late Edward J. Kurz Sr and Jean (nee Sheehy) Murray. Brother of Paula (Doug) Sheele, Charles (Patricia) Kurz and Diane (Michael) Pidrak. Beloved brother-in-law, uncle and dear friend of many. His passion for the Thornton High School Wildcats, Chicago Bears, horse racing, and his beloved St. Anne Parish will always be remembered. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Wednesday June 19th from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
