Ernest Proulx, age 93, passed away peacefully on July 14th. Longtime resident of Olympia Fields and Chicago’s Brainard area. Native of Candia, New Hampshire. Retired after 35 years as a Professor in the Loyola University School of Education as well as serving as the Director of Student Teaching. Ernie received his B.S. from Keene Teachers College, and his Master’s and Doctoral Degrees from Penn State University. U.S. Marine Veteran of WWII. Husband for 57 years of Lola nee Farley. Proceeded in death by five sisters and five brothers. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Sunday July 19th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
