Filippo Baratta, age 93, longtime Chicago Height’s resident, native of Caccamo, Pr. Palermo, Sicily. Husband for 66 years of the late Calogera “Lilla” Baratta nee Bova. Father of Enzo “Vince” (Ana Lizette) Baratta, Maria Teresa (Mimmo) Baratta-Baldanza, Diana (Salvatore) Giovane, Roberto (Megan) Baratta, Rosaria (Michael) Gust and George (Daniela) Baratta. Beloved “Nonno” to his 18 grandchildren. Brother of Pina Martino, Maria Spinuzza, Francesca Columbia, Angela Arena, Assunta Pardini, Teresa Talamo, Giovanni, Nicasio and Antonio Baratta, and the late Sarina Stanfa and Giorgia Galbo. Beloved “Zio” to his many nieces and nephews. A mason by trade, he also had 10 years of service for Midwest Steel. Resting at Panozzo Bros.
