Florence “Flo” Maydon, age 69. Longtime Chicago Heights resident formerly of Chicago’s Southeast Side. Former Executive Secretary for CNA Insurance Co. Florence received her BA in Social Work from DePaul University and studied for her Master in Social Work at Loyola University. She worked for Haymarket House, Catholic Charities and the Cathedral Shelter. Loving daughter of the late Dolores nee Tovar and Edward “Lefty” Maydon. Devoted life partner for 33 years of Maggie Ringstrom Lakota-Ryan. Beloved sister of Arline, Ronald and the late Edward Maydon. Dear friend of Linda Jordan. Beloved cousin and friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 Blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Tuesday December 23rd from 2:00 PM until time of funeral services at 7:00 PM.
