 Barsotti, Franco A. Barsotti, age 74. Professor of Photography at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago for over 30 years passed away on June 6th in Coupeville, WA. Born and raised in Chicago’s Historic Pullman area, he had made his home in Beverly and Chicago’s Northside before retiring to Coupeville 10 years ago. Father of David Barsotti, Jenifer Rosian, and Steven (Laila) Barsotti. Loving “Nonno” of Anthony, Alyssa, Alexis, Christopher, Zara, Rumi, and Lucca. Former husband of Nan nee Austin. Son of the late Tarsilla and Alfredo Barsotti. Brother of Agnes (Al) Tomei and Aldo (Dana) Barsotti. Beloved colleague, teacher, mentor and friend of many. Visitation will be held on Saturday June 16th from 12noon to 5:00 PM at Panozzo Bros Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St (US Rt. 30, 3 Blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights.
