Geraldine P. “Gerry” Meekma nee Maffei age 86.  Longtime Lansing resident formerly of Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood.  Retired from Sears & Roebuck Co. and Lan Oak Park District.  Proud member of St. Anthony Parish and the “Spaghettio’s”.  Wife for 61 years of James C. Meekma.  Mother of Shelly and Jim (Deborah) Meekma.  Loving grandmother of her pride and joy, Jimmy Meekma.  Sister of the late Joyce (late George) Pagoria and Louis (Lorraine) Maffei.  Beloved aunt and dear friend of many.  Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14^th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Sunday August 28^th from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  Family and friends will meet Monday morning at St. Anthony Church, 11533 S.
