Hugh Cameron, age 94. Longtime Richton Park and Roseland resident recently of Matteson. Native of Paisley, Scotland. WWII veteran of the British Royal Navy-HMS Auckland. Retired from National Lead Company, after having worked at International Harvester. Husband for 69 years of Ellen nee Kavanagh. Father of Eileen (Thomas) Coppens, Linda and Stuart (Peggy) Cameron. Grandfather of Brad and Jason Coppens, Kristen (Ryan) Welch, Betsy (Dennis) Sheppard, Amy (Kevin) Holben, and Ryan Cameron. Great-grandfather of Jossalyn, Lily, Taylor, Violet, Cameron, Jaxon, and Gavin. Brother of Elizabeth Eldridge, Frank Cameron and the late Ann McKinstery and James Cameron. Beloved uncle and dear friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 Blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Tuesday morning Sept. 23rd from 9:00 AM until time of chapel prayer at 10:45 AM, to Infant Jesus of Prague Church, Flossmoor. Mass 11:30 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
