Irene G. Hohl nee Guastalli, age 94, passed away peacefully on Oct. 26th in Roswell, GA. A former resident of Roseland, Oak Forest, IL. and Sun City, AZ, she was born and raised in Chicago’s “Pullman neighborhood.” Graduate of the Roseland Hospital nursing program, where Irene worked over 25 years as a Surgical Nurse and later, Assistant Director of Nursing. Irene also worked many years at the Orthopedics office of Dr. Arthur Connor. Wife for 66 years of Leo Hohl. Mother of Janet (Richard) DeCoster, David Hohl, and Wayne (Lisa) Hohl. Grandmother of Patrick DeCoster, Brandon (Hillary), Mikayla and Peyton Hohl. Sister of the late Robert (late Corrine nee Manzardo) Guastalli. Loving aunt and dear friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Monday November 5th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Tuesday morning 10:30 AM.
