J. Ronald Magnabosco Sr., age 85. Longtime Chicago Heights resident, born and raised in Chicago’s Roseland area. Graduate of St. Anthony Grammar School, CVS High School and attended Western Illinois University. Ron retired in 2006 after many years of service as a Commercial Loan Officer for the Heritage Olympia Bank/Old Second Bank. Husband for 51 years of the late Frances nee LeRose. Father of J. Ronald Jr. (Lesley) Magnabosco, Mary Jo (Bob) South, Robert Magnabosco and Nancy (Bob) VanHoutegen. Loving grandfather of Rachel, Josie, Mia and Morgan Magnabosco, Samantha and Tyler South, Jake, Josh and Zach VanHoutegen. Loving uncle and dear friend to many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Wednesday morning March 21st from 9:00 AM until time of chapel prayers at 11:00.
