James R. Monskie Sr, age 81. Longtime Chicago Heights resident, born and raised in Youngstown, OH. U.S. Marine Veteran. Retired from Weber-Stephen Products (Weber Grills) after 32 years of service. Proudly served the Village of Flossmoor as an Auxiliary Policeman for 25 years. Husband of 58 years to Shirley nee Biddle. Father of Sherry Shaffer and James R. (April) Monskie Jr. Loving “Pop” to his grandchildren Jacob, Jonathan, Hope and James R. III., and great grandchildren Joshua and Adelaide. Brother of Robert (Priscilla) Monske. Dear uncle, friend, co-worker and fellow policeman. A memorial visitation & service will be held at Panozzo Bros.
