Father of Sally (Michael) McDonnell, Jane (Dennis) DeBondt, Alice (Richard) Wolff and the late Master Gunnery Sgt. James J. (Annette) Petrongelli USMC. Loving papa of Jonathan (Jillian), Megan and Allison McDonnell, Samantha and Jack DeBondt, Alexander and Kellianne Wolff, Stephanie, Alyssa, Angela Rose, James Jr. and Joseph Petrongelli. Beloved great papa of Owen McDonnell. Brother of Mary Genzler, Anita Pancrazio, Loretta Genovese and the late Virginia Aprati, Erma Flanagin, Peggy Apponi, Alex and Elio Petrongelli.
