Received her Bachelors in Teaching from Northern Illinois University and Masters in Teaching from National Louis University. Retired Chicago Public School elementary teacher, teaching at Edgar Allan Poe Elementary School and Mt Greenwood Elementary School. Parishioner of St Anthony Church and fellow Spaghetti-O. Wife for 67 years of the late Julius Brasini. Mother of Karen (William) Andrews. Loving “Nonna” of Bill and Michelle Andrews. Daughter of the late Marcella nee Antonini and Angelo Grolla. Sister of the late Gloria (late John) Tribbia. Sister in law of the late Juliana (late Leonard) Whitfield. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 West 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Monday June 16, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Lying in state on Tuesday June 17, 2025 at St Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 West Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL from 9:00 am until time of Funeral Mass 10:00 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip.
