Kenneth H. Meekma, age 68. Monee resident formerly of Country Club Hills and Chicago’s Roseland Neighborhood, passed away February 18, 2020.  Attended Chicago Christian High School and Greer Tech. Worked as a Machinist at Industrial Park Machine. Ken was also a draftsman, drawing maps when providing driving directions. Father of Kathy (Carl) Smidt and Steven (Holly) Meekma. Grandfather of Morgan Smidt, Owen and Amelia Meekma. Son of Mildred nee Van Drunen and the late Harold Meekma. Brother of Nancy (Ron) Wiersema, David (Gail) Meekma and Paul (Kristen) Meekma. Former husband of Andrea Roos nee Pruitt.  Uncle and friend of many.  Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th St (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Monday February 24th  from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
