Larry A. Shapiro, age 74 of Chicago Heights, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2023. Loving father of Shana (Matt) Goetz and proud grandfather of Riley, Colin, and Camden Goetz. Devoted brother to Tom (Paula) Shapiro. “Uncle Lar” to Tia Shapiro, John (Julie) Shapiro, Keri English, and Kevin (Kathleena) Peterson. Loyal friend of Donna (Tom) Frachalla, Danny (April) White, Larry (Cindy) Pease and so many others. Preceded in death by his parents Aaron and Mildred (nee Beck) and cherished friend Linda White.Larry will be fondly remembered for his quick sense of humor, magnetic personality, and contagious laugh. He will be missed by all who knew him. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 12:00-5:30pm.  Funeral service to follow Celebration of Life at 5:30pm.
