Louis Frank “Puggy” Pignotti, age 87. Lifelong Chicago Heights resident. Retired after over 30 years of service as a machinist for Trio Machine Shop. U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. A Bloom High School graduate, he was a three-sport athlete and proud member of the Bloom Sports Hall of Fame. Husband for 61 years of Rosemary nee Cipolla. Father of Luke (Mary Kay) Pignotti, Mary Edith (David) Dunne, and Louis Anthony Pignotti. Grandfather of Brittany and Shannon Dunne. Son of the late Ida nee Cipriani and Alexander Pignotti. Brother of Eleanor (late Louis) Sinopoli and the late Rose (late Louis) Marks, Dino (“Billie”), Carl (late Loretta) and Emidio (late Florence) Pignotti. Dear uncle and beloved friend of many. Puggy enjoyed his many years coaching youth league sports at Mt. Carmel Grammar School and the Chicago Heights Park District. Visitation Tuesday morning July 11th at St. Kieran Catholic Church, 19500 S. Halsted St., Chicago Heights from 10:00 AM until time of funeral mass at 11:00 AM.
