Retired Custodian for Chicago Heights School District 170- Washington/McKinley Schools. Wife of James R. Utley and the late Eugene “Jake” Gerardi. Mother of Leroy (Gretchen) Sutherland. Grandmother of Leroy Jr, Luke and Alexis Sutherland. Great grandmother of Star Lydia Sutherland. Stepmother of Eugene, Larry, Gary, and Jerry Gerardi, Carolee Cristelli, Janice Grossi, Marianne Foushi, Patty Sharkey, Tina Tadros, Mary Ann Utley, Mike Busby, Thomas Utley and the late Jeffrey and Bobby Busby. Daughter of the late Henry Amyx and Nora way. Sister of Margaret Dickerson, Joyce Horne, Dan, Ray, Ralph, and Fred Amyx and the late Ann Coomer, Carl, Frank and John Amyx. Loving “Grandma” to her many step grand and great-grand children. Resting at Panozzo Bros Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St (US Rt. 30, 3 Blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Tuesday Septmber 6th from 3:00PM to 9:00PM.
