Marilyn E. Clarke nee Hendershott, age 100, passed away peacefully on Jan 14th. Born June 12, 1915 in Ottumwa, Iowa. A proud resident of Windmill Nursing Home in South Holland, Marilyn had been a longtime resident of Village Woods in Crete, Chicago’s Northside and the Hyde Park neighborhood. Wife of the late John. Mother of Donald (Beth). Grandmother of Phillip (late Terri), Matthew (Julie), Brendon and Collin. Great grandmother of Jordan Ramirez. Great-great grandmother of Jaxx Ramirez. Beloved aunt and dear friend of many. A longtime Chicago resident, Marilyn’s greatest joys were her family and traveling with her husband John. Visitation Monday morning January 18th at St. James Catholic Church, 22400 S. Torrence Ave, Sauk Village from 9:30 AM until time of funeral mass at 10:30 AM.
