Father of Nicole (Timothy) Coffman and Melanie (fiancé Mark Culjak) Varner. Grandfather of Ava Coffman, Anthony, and Matthew Culjak. Son of the late Evelyn nee Cervenka and Charles Varner. Brother of Charles R. Varner Jr, Barbara Varner, Valerie Evelyn Varner, and the late Vickie (late Alan) Bintz. Son in-law of the late Angeline nee Paglia and Martin Kocsis.  Brother in-law of Joseph Bona, John (Cheryl) Kocsis, Kathleen Anderson, and the late Martin and Joseph Kocsis.
