Resident of Chicago’s West Beverly Neighborhood, formerly of Chicago’s Roseland Neighborhood, born May 3, 1941 and raised in El Paso, Texas.  Entered eternity November 16, 2023 surrounded by her family. Proud worker of the Voter Registration Administration for Cook County Elections Department. Treasured wife for 45 years of the late Nicholas S. Resce. Mother of Margaret (Craig) Milkint, Teresa (Steven) Simon and Michael (Elizabeth) Resce. Grandmother of Peter (Kimberly) Simon, Stephanie Simon, Monica Milkint, Dominic Simon, Alec Milkint, Katherine Simon, Nicholas Resce, and Madelyn Resce. “GiGi” of Anthony and Nora Simon. Daughter of the late Juana nee Vargas and Santos Najera. Sister of Louis Najera, Arthur (Barbara) Najera, William (Charlene) Najera, Charles Najera, Robert (Yolanda) Najera, Patricia (Steve) Renick and the late Fernando (Melanie) Najera. Daughter-in-law of the late Margaret Mary nee Passafiume and Nichola Resce. Beloved sister-in-law of the late Nancy (Joseph) Savor, Teresa M. Resce and Nora Najera. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Faithful cousin and kind friend to all.
