Michael J. Maglis, age 91. Longtime Lansing resident formerly of Roseland/Kensington neighborhood. Former proprietor of Village Carpets in Lansing. Member of Chicago District Council of Carpenters. U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. Husband of the late Gladys nee Maglio. Father of Micki (Oscar Larsen) Maglis and Mary Kay (Donald) Lepore. Proud “Poppi” of Kristi (Tim) Peters and Tony (Kelli) Lepore, and “Great Poppi” of Khloe, Kaitlyn, Taylor and Tori. Brother of the late Elizabeth Stankiewicz, Carol Giordano, Joseph, Emil, and Dominic “Mickey Lofrano. Beloved uncle and friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Friday March 17th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Family and friends will meet at St. Anthony Church, 11533 S. Prairie Ave, Chicago, on Saturday morning for 9:00 AM viewing and 9:30 AM funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Worth.
