Retired after 35 years as a Civil Engineer for Commonwealth Edison. Member American Society of Civil Engineers and Chicago Heights Planning Commission. Husband for 58 years of Dorothy nee Simon. Father of Catherine (Mark) Tegtman, James (Donna), Patrick (Sheila) and David (Shannon) Morris. Grandfather of Matthew, Sarah and Elizabeth Tegtman, Steven, William, Colleen, Erin, Sean, Amanda and Katherine Morris, Kiley and Kira Mendrick. Great grandfather of Alba. Brother of Jean (Andrew) Pavnica, Sr. Mary Jean Morris O.S.F. and the late Dennis (Geraldine) Morris. Loving uncle and dear friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Sunday January 19th from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Family and friends will gather for viewing at St. Kieran Church, 195th and Halsted St., Chicago Heights on Monday morning from 9:30 AM until time of Funeral Mass 10:00 AM. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
