Patricia “Pat” Ann Matteson nee Higgins. Age 70. South Chicago Heights resident. Passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026. Born on February 21, 1956 in Sterling, Colorado. Pat lived a life marked by love, kindness, and dedication to family and friends. She was known for her passion of cooking and brought joy to those fortunate enough to know her. Pat is survived by her husband Edward R. Matteson, her sisters Maree Sneed and Claudia Higgins Stephens, and her five children Edward Matteson, Travis Matteson, Ruthanne Bagwell, Neal Matteson, and Scott Matteson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her twin sister, Peggy Donzell. A private service will be held at a later time.
