Paul F. Arrivo, age 83. Longtime Homewood resident, born and raised in Chicago’s Kensington neighborhood. Founder and longtime proprietor of the Homewood Florist, which he opened in 1960. Pullman Tech High School Graduate. Korean War Veteran, U.S. Navy/USS Botetourt-APA-136. Husband for 62 years of Annabelle nee Bresland. Father of Colleen (Ted) Johnson, Michael (Sara), Deborah, Martin (Kyle), Laura (Michael) Elsner, Paul, and Amy (Jason) Golick. Proud grandfather of Justin, Blake, Daniel, Nicholas, Brittney, Anthony, Paul, Kailey, Angela, Reilly, Dominic, Anna, Jake and Trevor. Son of the late Cinderalla nee Basile and Martin Arrivo Sr. Brother of the late James (Ida), Bernard (late Viola), Alex (late Ida) and Martin Jr. (Katherine) Arrivo. Beloved uncle and dear friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 Blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Tuesday July 14th from 3:00 PM until time of funeral services at 8:00 PM. Family committal services will be held Wednesaday afternoon at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. The Arrivo family asked that memorials in Paul’s name be directed to the charity of your choice.
