Retired Vice President of Commercial Loans of many Chicagoland banks after 45 years of service. Former Roseland Lions Club and Jaycee’s member. Volunteer for the South Holland and Thornton ESDA. Loving husband of Janet nee Glass. Father of Peter (Jodi), John (Tamara) Nicola, Mara (James) Heinecke and Michael (Bethany) Nicola. Grandfather of Taylor, Cassie, Conner, Gabriella Nicola, Madison, Morgan, Samuel Heinecke, Jerzie, Alexander, Gavin, Sophia, Eden Nicola. Son of the late Rose nee David and Peter Nicola. Brother of Robert Nicola. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th St (US Rt 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Friday September 29th from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Saturday 9:15 am from funeral home to Infant Jesus of Prague Church, Flossmoor. Mass 10:00 am. Interment private.
