Pauline A. "Bunny" Esposito - 87

Naples, Florida

Pauline A. “Bunny” Esposito, 87 of Naples, FL passed away Monday, November 27, 2023.  Formerly of Chicago Heights, IL she began wintering in Bonita Springs, FL in 1984 before making it her permanent home 18 years ago.  She also lived in Estero, FL for 3 years before recently relocating to Naples.  Bunny was born August 31, 1936 in Chicago, IL a daughter of the late Edward and Bridget (McManamon) Cavanaugh.  She graduated from Mercy High School and attended Northwestern University after pursuing her career as a model.   Bunny modeled for the Chicago Merchandise Mart and was the face of the Dolly Madison Company.  Bunny taught Charm School for Montgomery Wards (Wendy Ward Charm School) and Sears Roebuck (Sears Discovery Charm School).  She was a talented artist who enjoyed painting birds, koi fish and landscapes.  Survivors include her beloved husband of 68 years, James “Jim” Esposito; loving children, Michael Esposito of Chicago, IL, James (Mary) Esposito of Barrington, IL, Joseph Esposito of Chicago, IL, Connie (Steven) Davis of Big Rock, IL and Paul (Dawn) Esposito of Chapin, SC; sister, Patricia Chmielewski of Culver, IN; grandchildren, Mary Frances (Kyle) Anderson, Jaime (Isabelle Urbina) Esposito, Brooke Davis, Bridget (Chase) Cook, Brendon Esposito, Amanda Esposito, and Kaitlin Esposito; and great grandchildren, Everett Anderson, Hodge Urbina, Elzora Urbina and Keegan Davis Mulloy.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Sheila Burke, Mary Anderson and Edward Cavanaugh.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 28300 Tamiami Trail So., Bonita Springs, FL 34134.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bunny’s name may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, www.ABCF.org.  Info panozzo@panozzobros.com or 708-481-9230.
