Richard M. Stachyra age 74. Manteno resident formerly of Riverdale and Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood. Graduate of Mendel High School Class of 1959. Retired after 30 years of service as a Machinist for International Harvester/Navistar. Son of the late Helen nee Florek and Theodore “Ted” Stachyra. Brother of Robert (Sallie) Stachyra and Nancy (Terry) O’Connor. Uncle of James (fiancé Morgan Busch) Stachyra, Nichole (Robert) LaRusso, Lisa (Michael) Gaidar, Bryan O’Connor and Christopher (Lindsey) O’Connor. Great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Longtime companion of Carol Adducci. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Friday October 2nd from 3:00 PM until time of funeral services at 7:00 PM. Burial private.
