Richard Traverso age 69. Longtime Orland Park resident formerly of Chicago’s Roseland-Pullman area. A bartender for over 30 years at the family owned Traverso’s Restaurant, Richard loved travelling; especially to Las Vegas, and was proud to have played four of greatest golf courses in the world. Father of Kimberly (James) Kapica and Daniel Traverso. Grandfather of Chloe and Sophie Kapica. Brother of Lorraine (Anthony) Di Santo, George (Terry) and John (Patty) Traverso. Former husband of Judith Mikrut (nee Meadors). Beloved uncle, cousin and friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Friday December 14th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Family and friends will meet Saturday at St. Julie Billiart Church, 7732 W. 159th St., Tinley Park for an 11:30 AM Funeral Mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Worth. 708-481-9230.
