Retired from The Tribune Company where he had worked as a Sterotyper and Building Engineer. Husband of the late Patricia nee Plymale. Father of Jackie (Bill) Booth, Holly (Sam) DiGiovanni and Mitzi (Chuck) Cline. Grandfather of Christina (Pat) Saguin, Sara (John) Shinnick, Michael DiGiovanni, J.R. (Lisa), Steven, Nicki, and Patty Wood, Ethan and Halle Cline and the late Melissa Ann Perkins. Great grandfather of Taylor Wells, Jacqueline Saguin, Catherine Shinnick, Alexis McGinty and the late Liam Shinnick. Brother of the late Jack Atkins. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Sunday December 30th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Funeral service Monday 12 Noon.
