Retired from Whiting Inc in Harvey where he designed Track Mobiles Heavy Equipment servicing the Railroad Industry. Member of the Matteson American Legion Rehfeldt-Meyer Post 474.  Husband for 62 years of the late Ethel Jeanne nee Breyfogle. Father of Dave S. (Anne) Ryan. Son of the late Mary nee Gardner and David M. Schlegelmilch. Memorial Gathering Saturday November 5, 2022, from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM at Matteson American Legion Rehfeldt-Meyer Post 474, 3539 214th Street, Matteson, IL, 60443.
