Robert N. “Bob” Stella. Age 84. Recently of Channahon, Illinois, formerly of Mokena, Richton Park and Chicago’s Roseland and Historic Pullman Neighborhoods.  Passed away peacefully Saturday August 24, 2024. Graduated from Pullman Grade School Class of 1954, Fenger High School Class of 1958 and attended University of Illinois Navy Pier. Bob left college to work in the Accounting Department at the Illinois Central Railroad. After leaving the Illinois Central, Bob ventured, along with his wife Donna into owner and operator of the 7 Eleven in Park Forest for the next 38 years. In 1986 they added the 7 Eleven Homewood Store until 1993.  After retiring from the 7 Eleven stores, Bob worked part time at Walt’s in Tinley Park and Jewel/Osco in Minooka. Bob was an avid bowler and softball player. A Die-Hard Cubs Fan and enjoyed trips to Galena. Husband for 60 years of Donna nee Felicicchia. Father of Robert (Susan) Stella and Kimberly (Michael) Muirhead. “Papa” of Stephanie (Bradley) Sather, Sarah and Laura Stella. “Papa Bob” of Brooklyn and Brinley Sather. Son of the late Estelle nee Sigerich and Felix Stella. Brother of Nancy (Richard) Chiaro and the late Eleanor Stella and Armand (late Gayle) Stella. Son in law of the late Esther nee Canale and August “Stiddy” Felicicchia. Uncle of Michael (Christine) Stella, Brian and Kristi Chiaro.  Cousin of Ronald (Karen) Carine, Anthony (Lisa) and Dennis (Gail Wrzaskowski) Stella. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Saturday September 7, 2024 from 9:00 am until Funeral Services 12:00 Noon. Private inurnment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip.
