Trained as a Barber, Roger later served as a Firefighter for the City of Chicago Heights for 15 years until his retirement in 1990. Husband for 51 years of Patricia nee Trotier. Father of Paul Franze, Elena (Steve,CHFD) Kozlowski, Michelle (David) Herndon, Francesca (Nicholas Doerr) Franze, and the late Therese Panozzo. Grandfather of Dominic, Nicholaus, Danielle, Anthony, Joshua, Christopher, Ariana, Andrew, Jacob, Maximilian, Eva and the late Matthew. Son of Frances nee Liporota and the late Frank Franze. Brother of Frank Franze and Eileen (James) Venditti. Loving uncle, friend and fellow firefighter. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 Blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Monday Dec. 2nd from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral Tuesday 9:15 AM to St. Agnes Church. Mass 10:00 AM.
