Salvatore “Sam” Camilleri age 72. Longtime Chicago Heights resident. Native of Joppolo Gianaxio, Pr. Agrigento, Sicily, Italy. Retired after over 30 years of service as a welder for the Thrall Car Company. Husband of Guiseppa “Pina” nee Argento. Son of the late Maddalena Argento and Tommaso Camilleri. Brother of Angelo, Giacomo, Guiseppe, Stefano, Domenico and the late Tommaso Camilleri. Beloved “Zio Sam” to many nieces and nephews. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Saturday January 2nd from 9:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM.
