Shawn T. Meade. Age 65. Longtime Chicago Heights resident, formerly of Chicago’s Roseland Neighborhood. Graduate of St Anthony Catholic Grammar School, Mendel Catholic High School, and Columbia College. Retired Chicago Heights Police Officer after 25 years of service. Shawn had an eye for photography, kayaking, treasured his time with his lifelong friends, dedicated youth hockey coach and Die-Hard Chicago Blackhawks fan. Son of Miriam nee Rigoni and the late John “Jack” Meade. Brother of Christopher (Liz Lekan) Meade, Cara (Daniel) Pastere, Adam Meade and Matthew (Kristen) Meade. Nephew to his Godmother Antoinette (late Lawrence) Panozzo, the late Kathleen (Gerald) Wilharber and Mary Ellen (late Michael) Johnson. Uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Friday from 2:00 pm until time of Funeral Services 7:30 pm. Interment private.
