Thomas Cellini age 76 passed away peacefully; after a long battle with Huntington’s Disease, at his home in Flossmoor on June 9th with his beloved family at his side. Tom was born and raised in Chicago Heights; at the age of 16, he turned his passion for auto body repair and his unparalleled work ethic into a successful career as body man and proprietor of Broadway Auto Body Rebuilders. Husband for 56 years of Barbara nee Embry. Father of Thomas “Tiger” (Michele) Cellini, Alisa Cellini Gosney, Gia (Kurt) Cellini Rodrigues, Maria (Matthew) Cellini Alberico and Cara (Jeremy) Cellini Matokar. Grandfather of Jenna, Thomas and Anthony Cellini, Jacob, Jillian and Jonathan Gosney, Joseph, Mario, Dominic, Geno and Bella Rodrigues, Elia and Cecilia Alberico. Great grandfather of Jackson and Cole. Son of the late Maria nee DeSandre and Paul Cellini. Brother of Paul (late Kathleen) Cellini and the late baby Betty Jean and baby Tommy Cellini. Beloved uncle and dear friend of many. Tom’s kind nature and strength of character will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Sunday June 14th from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
