Victoria Dal Santo, nee Bortoli, age 95. Longtime resident of Dolton and Roseland neighborhood, recently of Chicago, passed away peacefully on April 25th with her family at her side. Devoted mother of Lois (Michael) Harring, Colleen (Kevin) Ryan, and Victoria (John Dombrowski) Dal Santo and the late Joseph Grant “Jay” Dal Santo. Loving “Nonna” to her grandchildren James and Victoria Harring, Courtney Claghorn, Kathleen and Anthony Parker Ryan, and Cristina Dombrowski. Former wife of Joseph Dal Santo. Daughter of the late Giacomina Traverso and Giacomo Bortoli. Sister of the late Natalina, Lino and Joseph Bortoli, Mary Dennis, Lena Cresto, Jack and Louis Bortoli, and Loretta Broccardo. Beloved aunt and dear friend of many. A native of Carre, Prov. Vicenza, Italy, Victoria immigrated with her family to Chicago’s Pullman area in 1929. A master seamstress and dress maker, her greatest pride was that her skill and hard works enabled all four of her children to earn college degrees. She was an avid runner until the age of 80. Her elegance and kind spirit will be fondly remembered by all fortunate to have known her. Resting at Panozzo Bros Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St (US Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Tuesday April 28th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
