Vincent F. “Shine” LaBanco, age 89 passed away at the Illinois Veterans Home in Manteno. Longtime South Holland and Roseland resident. U. S. Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII. Retired in 1986 from Acme Steel in Riverdale where he proudly worked as a Production Trucker for 43 years. Husband for 43 years of the late Gloria nee Kingsmill. Fathers of James (Barb) LaBanco and Linda (Michael) Bartolomei. Grandfather of James Jr. (Cheryl) and Andrea LaBanco, Matthew and Kara Bartolomei. Great grandfather of Josephine Rose and Nora Mae LaBanco. Brother of Rosalie Fioretti and the late Dorothy Beasley, Mary Luise, Grace Wukitsch, Henrietta LaBriola, Virginia, Alex and Louis LaBanco. Beloved uncle, friend and co-worker. “Shine’s” engaging nature and genuine friendship will be forever treasured by those who knew him. Resting at Panozzo Bros.
