Retired after 50 years of service as a Tool and Die maker for Verson All Steel Press. U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Fenger High School graduate. Husband for 54 years to the late Ronna Lee “Ronnie” nee Rossa. Father of Susan (Mark) Bennett, Lynne Mandarino, Deanna (Joseph) Mulherin and Thomas Mandarino. Grandfather of Joshua, Fiona and Delaney Mulherin. Son of the late Rose nee Miceli and Faustino Mandarino. Brother of Connie (Ken) Caplinger and the late Georgina “Joy” (Donald) Hakes. Beloved uncle of Michael Hakes, Christina Caplinger Ryan and Denise Caplinger Paciorek. Dear friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 Blks E. of Western Ave.) Chicago Heights on Thursday September 14th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services Friday morning 11:00 AM.
