William G. “Torch” Stortz Jr. age 79.  Longtime Frankfort resident formerly of South Holland, born and raised in Evergreen Park passed away peacefully on October 28^th after a brief illness. For over 50 years, Torch proudly served as Merchandising Manager for Century Steel in Chicago Heights. Loving husband for 62 years of Marjorie nee Farino.  Father of Lynn (Gary) Van Sipma, William G. III, Brian and Brad Stortz.  Grandfather of Sarah and Ashley Van Sipma, Leah Rae and Hailey Stortz.  Brother of Rosemary Klein and Donna Allen.  Dear uncle and friend of many.  Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14^th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.),  Chicago Heights on Friday November 4^th from 3:00 PM until time of funeral services at 7:00 PM.
