William Nicolai, age 101. Olympia Fields resident formerly of Chicago Heights. A 1928 graduate of Bloom H.S., he received his B.S. in Architecture in 1935 from Armour Tech/IIT, and began his Architecture Practice in Chicago Heights in 1947. He was a Past President and Paul Harris Fellow with the Chicago Heights Rotary Club.Husband of the late Mary nee Gergel and Florence “Billie” nee Goodwin. Father of Judith (Joseph) Mamak, Paula (late William) Rowland, and Mary Beth (Darlys) Koschel. Grandfather of Anne Iseminger, Joseph Andrew Mamak, Mary Ellen Rowland, and Kathleen Thompson. Great grandfather of Vincent Mamak and Caroline Thompson. Brother of the late Henry Nicolai. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Thursday October 27th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services Friday 10:30 AM.
