Antoinette Panozzo passed away peacefully at her home on January 29, 2023. She lived a beautiful life journey that unfolded over 102 years. Antoinette was born on November 4, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois where she resided with her Italian immigrant parents the late Emily nee Loico and Massimo Panozzo and 5 siblings; the late Peter (late Gladys) Panozzo, Tranquinio “Chip” (late Betty) Panozzo, Catherine (late John) Griffin, Joseph (late Adeline) and Alexander (late Marie) Giudici. In 1941, she married Orlando Panozzo. Antoinette and Orlando stayed in the Chicago area near both of their families where they raised their son, Thomas. They shared 67 happy years of marriage until Orlando passed away in 2009. In 2020, Antoinette moved with her son and daughter-in-law to Tennessee. She is survived by her son, Thomas, her daughter-in-law, Andrea, 3 grandchildren; Thomas (Mandy) Panozzo Jr., Lori (Frank) Acosta and Kim (Lane) Shaver and 10 great-grandchildren. Antoinette was an excellent homemaker and was known for the many delicious Italian meals and desserts she made to share with others. All who knew Antoinette were blessed by the loving way she treated people. She will be remembered for the consistent kindness, generosity, and help she gave to her family and friends. It was fun to be with Antoinette. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Antoinette was a Christian woman who often prayed for those in need and brought joy into the lives of many people. Visitation, Friday, February 10, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:30 a.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S. Harlem Ave, Tinley Park, IL, 60477.
