Betty C. Ruzich nee Scheiflinger. Age 91. Lifelong resident of Olympia Fields. Bowen High School graduate. Member of the Park Forest Garden Club, TOPP’s Weight Loss Group, Shawl Ministry at St. Stephen’s Church, very active in the Olympia Fields Community and loved working in her yard. Betty spearheaded the formation of the Park Forest Junior Garden Club. Wife for 52 years of the late William Ruzich Sr. Loving mother of Christine (Mark) Losey, Mark (Frances), Steven (Patti), Dr Janet (Jeffery) Ruzich-Hanks and the late William Ruzich Jr. Grandmother of Bill, Clinton (Lauren), Timothy (Ellen), Nathan (Maggie) and Amanda Ruzich. Great grandmother of Sawyer, Peyton and Rory Ruzich. Daughter of the late Lucia nee Krenn and John Scheiflinger. Sister of Alvine (Michael) Gbur and the late John Scheiflinger. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Friend to many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th St (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Monday December 28, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. So sorry for your loss. Aunt Betty was so much fun at the Getson Family reunions we used to have at the Inwood Park in Joliet in July. It has been a long time but we always loved seeing her. She organized the games which were always so much fun. Then we used to see her and Uncle Bill at Earl's Cafe. They would come for dinner and we would they would stay and dance. What a wonderful lady!
